Pulsar has just announced the start of sale of the Telos LRF XL50 and the Telos XL50. It’s not common for any type of product to be available on the date of the press release, but here’s a pleasant exception. If you already read our review of its little brother, the Telos LRF XP50, you know a little more about what to expect.

Apart from a new sensor, the buttons now provide haptic feedback with a small vibration. It works great day and night.

Some of the HD sensor features include sharp image quality, with a 1024×768 resolution and 12 μm pixel size. You can zoom in from 2.5x to 20x to achieve the perfect view for almost any situation. In terms of ergonomics, the non-slip, rubber-coated housing provides a secure grip. The laser rangefinder accurately measures distances up to 1000 meters – I even tried longer distances.
