HOT GAT or FUDD CRAP? It Takes Glock Mags or the Price Tag Makes Me Sad?
Welcome everyone to the 236th edition of ‘Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?’, one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only have Fudd appeal? Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.
In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the Deadpool-themed baby Deagle was just fudd crap.
At this time the original auction has ended after just a single bid of $550 rolled in. Congratulations to buyer Jpallerez on the purchase of what you’ve deemed, a hot gat.
In this week’s edition of HGFC, we look at a custom AR-15 PCC chambered in 9mm. As is tradition, this Glock mag-ready PCC is currently up for sale on GunBroker for $1,200 Buy It Now.

Just when you think you’ve seen all possible selector markings, well then there’s this. Even in a three-step tier, I never imagined anything going from one to “Donkey Show”. If someone were to use this in a defensive situation, well just pray that the jury has a sense of humor.
AR pattern PCCs come in all shapes and sizes and over the years we’ve all agreed that there’s nothing we can really agree on. So I guess if you’re trying to be as practical as possible, it makes sense to stick with double stack single feed glock magazines. They don’t have that cool strait colt mag aesthetic, but they do work and are available just about everywhere. While this gun is built from quality parts, there’s a certain wow factor that I can’t seem to find. I bet it shoots great, but I don’t think that justifies the price tag.
What do you think? Is this little PCC worth it for just a shade over $1k or are you better buying something a little less custom? As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
What do you think? Is this custom AR pattern PCC a Hot Gat or cobbled-together Fudd Crap? Be sure to let us know in the comments below, and cast your vote to let us know if this EDC Tactical LLC Model EDC-9 is a Hot Gat or Fudd Crap:
